Dr. Amanda Kulberg

Optometrist

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Dr. Amanda Kulberg knew she was meant for the field of optometry since she was a little girl needing eyeglasses as young as third grade. Dr. Kulberg is extremely interested in specialty contact lenses and myopia control management. She states, "Near-sightedness is becoming more prevalent, and the complications that come along with it are life-long; we need to catch it while the patient is young and aggressively treat it to prevent it from progressing." Dr. Amanda Kulberg is fluent in English and Russian and is eager to treat and manage patients of all ages to improve and maintain their overall ocular health.

She graduated from the Macaulay Honors College at Brooklyn College with Summa Cum Laude Honors and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. Amanda continued to receive her doctorate in optometry from SUNY College of Optometry with honors in the Beta Sigma Kappa Honors Society and received the Eschenbach Low Vision Award.
