Dr. Bukhatetsky, the proud owner and lead optometrist at Park Slope Family Eye Care, is dedicated to providing exceptional eye care through personalized attention, advanced expertise, and a commitment to excellence.
He began his academic journey right in the heart of New York City at Hunter College, where he developed a strong foundation for science and his desire to pursue healthcare. This passion led him to the prestigious SUNY College of Optometry, where he graduated in 2007.
During his clinical training at the Brooklyn VA Hospital, Dr. Bukhatetsky gained extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide array of eye conditions. He’s passionate about complex contact lens fittings and evaluations. In addition, he provides full scope treatment of ocular infections, trauma, as well as co-management of cataracts, glaucoma, LASIK, and other corrective surgeries, ensuring his patients receive the highest standard of care.
Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Bukhatetsky takes pride in delivering personalized care that ensures each patient receives the most precise prescription and treatment plan possible. This dedication to excellence is further demonstrated through his current additional part-time work at the – Ruth Bader Ginsberg Hospital, where he collaborates with ophthalmologists to advance his expertise in complex disease management and continued awareness of the latest ocular protocols and care.
